Two members, Rick and Bobby were on their first ride of the season, March 28, when a Payless Tow Truck with mechanical problems cut them off. Rick made it by but Bobby did not. He collided with the truck and was thrown over 100 feet, severely injured. Bobby's main artery in his right leg was severed. Bobby was losing a lot of blood and Mick McKechnie, a passing motorist, was a first aid attendant at the scene. Mick stopped the massive blood loss and saved Bobby's life. Bobby has undergone numerous surgeries to save his leg and arm. Unfortunately Bobby had to have his right leg amputated below the knee. He will be in the hospital and rehab for a very long time time. Bobby has three young daughters to support. And if you would like to donate please mail to the address below.
